Seeding the Future Together
A vision for a new kind of ecovillage, led not by one, but by many.
My life has been shaped by a deep inquiry into disconnection—how it forms, how it fractures us, and how we begin to repair it. As the author of The Fracture and Opening Experiences, I’ve spent over a decade naming the invisible threads that bind and separate us. What’s emerging now is the next step in that work: creating a living, breathing place where those threads can be rewoven—through shared ritual, shared land, and shared purpose.
The Vision
We are dreaming—not of a commune or a compound, but of a intentional community incubator, a place where people gather to heal, return to nature’s rhythm, and come into relationship with one another.
- Life is anchored in ritual, restoration, and right relationship
- Decision-making is collaborative, clear, and resilient
- Each person has a role, a purpose, and a seat at the table
- The voices of the marginalized are heard, and their leadership encouraged
- Land is honored, not extracted from
- Children are raised in community
- The sacred is not something we visit—but something we live
Here, people gather to heal, to train in resilience, and to prepare themselves to weave communities of care.
What I Bring
I carry vision, discipline, and long-term commitment. I bring soul, tools, and frameworks—but what matters most is the will to give shape to what longs to be born.
Over the last decade, I’ve cultivated the skills to hold space, write systems, and organize groups toward shared goals. I’ve worked in nonprofit leadership, facilitated healing spaces, authored sociological and spiritual works, and guided others through collective transformation. I know how to dream—and I know how to ground it.
But this isn’t mine to lead alone.
Who I’m Calling In
I’m looking for co-founders.
People who feel the ache for something deeper. Who are willing to labor with love. Who want to raise food and children and consciousness in one place. Who are ready to do the hard, holy work of community—not as fantasy, but as commitment.
If you carry gifts in:
- Land stewardship and permaculture
- Healing arts, herbalism, and midwifery
- Facilitation of healing spaces and rites of passage
- Building systems, structures, and shelter
- Parenting, eldering, and teaching
- Conflict transformation and governance
- Ritual design and devotional arts
…then there may be a role for you in what comes next.
The Dream
This community will be small at first. Likely rural. Rooted in land. Built slowly. It may begin as a household, or a retreat center, or a working farm—but it will grow into something we can’t yet name. What matters most is how we build it:
- With integrity
- With shared power
- With spiritual and emotional maturity
- With beauty and function, in equal measure
Frameworks and visions can offer glimpses into the architecture behind this dream. But the living version is our hearts, hands, and voices coming together to create a new timeline for humankind.
Let’s Talk
If something in you stirs when you read this—if you’re already building something similar, or dreaming of it in silence—I’d love to connect. Whether you come with land, vision, or just the willingness to walk together, I welcome the conversation.
Let’s begin. Reach out to me at liberate@bchristopherfrancis.com to connect.
